Spring Break

So Spring break was totally awesome....We drove down at 2AM on Sat. I drove the 12 passenger van from Tennessee to Alabama. We got to double springs Alabama and chilled in a motel for the night. There was a sweet view of a lake that I had to test the water temp in... It was freezing cold but I still went swimming. Only for a few seconds though. Mike caught the picnic table on fire from his stove. I cooked pancakes on mine. The next day we started out on the trail and after looking at the map right next to where we were supposed to start. But for some reason we decided to take a different trail that turned out to not be a trail but more just deer paths. It took us to one of the coolest spots that we were the whole trip though. So we stayed there for the night which included swimming and playing in the waterfall. The next day we went back and started on the right trail. We met up with a sheriff because someone had left their car doo open in the parking lot. I closed it and when the sheriff went to open it he set off the alarm. The right trail involved a cave which we could not fit through with our packs so we had to go up and over. My sleeping bad ended up falling in the water....Luckily those stuff sacks are fairly water proof. We ended up on top of a ridge with and then when we finally got to where we decided to camp and had dumped all our stuff it started to pour. Then I was challenged to get a fire going. We had tree branches sticking out so the rest would dry out while part of it burnt. The next day we hiked back and crossed the river to make it a little shorter. We loaded up in the van and drove to Knoxville Tennessee. We met up with Matt who went to HS with Janene and he took us and showed us around the Univ of Tenn campus. Then he took us to a club called Cotton Eyed Joe. It was a tues night so it wasnt real busy but was still cool. Oh yeah and there was that random girl who decided to start grinding with me. The next day we drove on to kentucky and stayed in an awesome cabin with a hot tub pool table and full kitchen. We went for a small hike the first day and chilled that night. The next day we went on a nine mile hike to the tallest waterfall in the Great Smokey Mountains. We were real tired at the end of that so that night we explored the town of Gatlinburg. Got throwing knives and a assited open knife. The next morning we got up at 630 AM and loaded up. i slept for the first couple hours then drove from Kentucky back to PA. It was a great trip. Had an awsome weekend. Took off school on Fri and drove to philly to ref some more. Fridays games were rather unevenful some good games. The peewee game was the two icedog teams against each other. I was reffing with Ryan Farley who also knew kids from both those teams. So I think I was the only one who didnt know someone. Then on Sat I got to ref w/ schelhorn. It wass a lot of fun. Threw another kid out for fighting. It is so hard to just stand there and wait. Then did lines for another game. Aunt sherry , uncle bob and anunt carol and michelle came to watch the game. Then i flew home. Yeah blew right past a trooper. whoops wow did i get lucky. Made it in time for the Amb. banquet. Took home rookie of the year, and a bobble head emt. Then sun morning up early again for an interview with Todd from Tuckahoe. I may be their business manager. oh well very tired and still ahve paper to write.
